Heat Transfers printing is a newer decoration method, but it come along way of iron decals of old.
With Vinyl Transfer you place a roll of coloured vinyl into the plotter machine, once you have set the design. (Mainly 1 colour) on your artwork file, just using outline by pressing print machine, use a large pointed knife, will move around the paper will cut out the design back to front. Once cut out you weed out the excess thats not required, the placed onto the garment and pressed using at heat seal machine at 160 degrees. Once cooled the backing is peeled away to leave the design adhered to the shirt.
The Xpres Cut system (plotter cut) allows you to produce single colour basic transfers that can be industrially washed, dry cleaned, tumble dried and ironed, making them ideal for sports, promotional and work wear.
Using the software Versa Works, we can now produce multicoloured in house on our brand new TrueVis Roland Multicolour printer. Logos are loaded onto the machine with a cut line that asks the printer to print the designs then cut an outline that allows us to weed out the excess ready for application onto the garment.
