Kick off service via teams meeting outlining the service, what is
required in terms of data and what data applies to E.M.J Management Ltd
(Scope 1, 2 & 3), also discuss the process to achieve a valid carbon neutral
status. Reporting period (12-month timeframe) agreed upon as data collection
process can then begin.

Scope 1 & 2 emissions calculated at 0 tCO2e. No onsite fuel
combustion or company vehicles equates to scope 1 associated emission
totalling 0 tCO2e. E.M.J Management Ltd onsite 50 kW solar generation
system ensures a green, renewable energy fuel mix and, also, an associated
emissions total of 0 tCO2e for scope 2.

First details of scope 3 data collected and implemented into
carbon footprint. Upstream transport and water data implemented. E.M.J
Management Ltd provide further information on a rainwater harvesting system
which collates roughly 256,000 ltr p/year. Further scope 3 data including
employee commuting, Mileage claims and waste data collected and
associated emissions calculated using carbon factors provided by UK
government and most recent regulated information.

In depth data regarding upstream transport has been
collected and provided including country of origin for shipment imports,
distance travelled, weight of cargo and associated cost. This enables the
ability to begin calculating the emissions via mathematical equations.
Purchased goods and services spend figures also provided via SIC coding.
Enabling appropriate carbon factors to be applied and emissions calculated.

Final confirmations for Scope 3 data. Scope 3 is particularly the
most in depth and details section of a carbon footprint, E.M.J Management
Ltd were eager to ensure everything applicable was implemented.

Company turnover for the reporting period implemented within
the carbon footprint to calculate emissions intensity metric (tCO2e/£m
turnover). This will be the basis of looking to make reductions year on year
whilst continuing to support business growth.

Carbon footprint complete. Net Zero Plan document compiled
also explaining carbon neutrality initiatives and associated standard that can
be worked towards, the calculated emissions from the footprint, where they
have come from and projections moving forward with the aim to achieve Net
Zero 2050. This is support by initial discussions on SBTI & ISO-14068-1 as
we look towards the future.

Offsetting payment made to retire carbon credits against company
name and achieve carbon neutrality, valid through the PAS 2060 standard.

PAS2060 certification and Qualifying Explanatory Statement
created and provided to E.M.J Management Ltd confirmed carbon neutral
status which is valid up to 30th September 2025. Following this date E.M.J
management can begin collating data for a new carbon footprint with the aim
and hope of making reductions in their absolute emissions and emissions
intensity ratio.
